A homemade box story

The illustration of the children’s book “Μια ιστορία του κουτιού απο σπίτι" (A homemade box story) is based on the power of imagination as a tool for transforming everyday life. A simple box becomes an entire universe: a space where fantastical, unexpected, and often paradoxical events unfold, inviting the reader to see reality through new eyes.

The central concept of the illustrations is that inside the box, anything can change. Multiple and diverse “box-characters” were created, each with their own personality, mood, and role, enhancing the sense of a vibrant and playful world.

Like the story itself, the imagery suggests that creativity does not require complex tools — only imagination, freedom, and a willingness to play. The book acts as both a visual and narrative reminder that we can transform our world, starting with the way we imagine it.
